The K5 System

The K5 system is a specialized safety system available as dropside lock (front, side, and rear) and our Kinnetop version for tarpaulin structures on dropside vehicles and trailers. It is tailored for flatbeds where the dropsides stand on top of the platform, and is designed for an embedded installation within the flatbed side rave. It has a two-step mechanism for releasing drop sides and pillars from the side rave pocket. Crafted entirely from steel and finished with ED paint, the K5 system ensures durability and long-lasting performance.

Functionality, Design, and Safety

The K5 safety system is developed and tested in accordance with the EN 12642 standards, providing a reliable construction that protects both the user and the cargo.

  • Standard lengths from 400 to 1200 mm (customizable lengths on request)
  • Embedded pillar pockets within the side rave, suitable for welding
  • Operable from ground level for good ergonomics
  • Easily removable for an open loading area
  • Dropside end profiles and catches available in different design
  • Designed for 25 mm dropsides
