The K20 System
The K20 system is available as dropside locks (front, side, and rear), pendulum pillars for tippers, and our Kinnetop version for tarpaulin structures. The system is mainly intended for flatbeds with external mounted dropsides, but can also be used for on top standing dropsides. It’s available in both steel in ED paint or hot-dip galvanizing for a heavier, but more robust setup, or naturally anodized aluminum for a lighter setup.
For demanding applications where wear resistance is critical, steel pillars can be equipped with a Hardox® back plate. This premium option significantly increases durability and extends service life in tough operating conditions. Available for all K20 steel sizes, it is offered as a customized product.
Functionality, Design, and Safety
The K20 system is developed and tested in accordance with EN 12642 standards, providing a reliable construction with multiple safety mechanisms that protect both the user and the cargo.
- Standard lengths (customizable lengths on request):
- Steel: from 400 to 1200 mm
- Aluminum: from 400 to 2100 mm
- Load indicator to alert users if the cargo has shifted during transport
- Double handle locking to prevent unintentional opening during transport
- Operable from ground level for good ergonomics
- Easily removable for an open loading area
