Summer is here and things are moving fast – both for our customers and within Kinnegrip. This season marks an exciting time filled with product innovation, international collaborations, and forward-looking development projects.
We’ve just launched a new custom solution for the T50, designed to enhance safety and simplify installation. At the same time, we’re preparing for autumn field testing of a new solution adapted for Southern Europe. Our recent presence at the IDET trade fair gave us great visibility, and internally, we’re making big strides in digitalizing and streamlining our systems.
As we head into the holiday season, we want to make sure you’re well-informed about our summer schedule so that you can plan ahead and stay on track.

New Bracket for T50 Short Pin – Designed for Safety and Ease
We have developed a new bracket, specially designed to fit our T50 Short Pin lock. The bracket comes in two versions – riveted (037694) and bolted (037695) – and offers fast and straightforward installation without requiring any design modifications.
It is a perfect fit for light commercial vehicle bodies with a ready design front wall, making it an excellent solution for builders who want to deliver professional and reliable drop side constructions without having to re-design.
With improved fit and robust performance, this bracket ensures optimal locking function and long-lasting durability. It’s designed to work seamlessly with the T50 SP lock – enhancing both safety and efficiency in daily operations.

Coming Soon: K20 Bajonett – A Regional Innovation
We are also preparing for the field testing of our upcoming K20 Bajonett solution. This adaptation has been developed to align with how drop side pillars are typically mounted in Southern European markets such as Italy, France, and Spain.
The tests are scheduled to take place in Italy during the autumn and are part of our ambition to offer tailored, high-performance solutions for local needs.
What’s going on at Kinnegrip?
Together with our partner Trans-Technik, we recently exhibited at IDET – a leading trade fair for defense and security technologies. We showcased our K20 system and had great opportunities to connect with industry professionals from across Europe. A successful event!

This month’s SAFETY
Built-in Load Indicator – Smart Safety in Every K20 Pillar
Our K20 pillars come with an integrated load indicator that improves safety during use. When pressure is applied from the inside – typically due to shifting loads – the handle offers increased resistance. This gives immediate feedback and alerts the user before opening.
This safety function is available in both the standard and pendulum versions of the K20 pillar and ensures safe handling without added complexity or mechanical parts.
