The transaction is carried out together with the company’s existing CEO, who also becomes a shareholder.
Fröjdia Group, together with AMLO Group, becomes new owners of Kinnegrip. The transaction will be completed on Monday, 2 February 2026. The acquisition will not result in any changes to the day-to-day operations, and Kinnegrip will continue to be operated from Lidköping with its existing organisation and management.
Kinnegrip is an established industrial company with operations based in Lidköping. In connection with the change of ownership, the company is transferred to Fröjdia Group and AMLO Group in collaboration with Kinnegrip’s existing CEO.
“It has been important for us to hand over Kinnegrip to owners who already know the business well and who can take the company forward in a secure and responsible way,” say the current owners.
Fröjdia Group and AMLO Group enter as owners with the ambition to contribute industrial expertise and a hands-on, operational approach.
“Kinnegrip is a well-run industrial company with a clear niche and strong competence. Our role as owners is to create the conditions for continued development, in close cooperation with the organisation,” says Thomas Fröjd, Fröjdia Group.
“Kinnegrip operates within a segment of the automotive industry where AMLO Group has extensive experience. This enables us to actively contribute industrial expertise and a relevant perspective to the company’s continued development,” says Amir Lotfi, AMLO Group.
Kinnegrip’s operations will continue to be based in Lidköping. No changes are planned to the day-to-day operations, and the company’s organisation and working methods will remain unchanged.
“I strongly believe in Kinnegrip and in the opportunities to continue developing the company. After five years as CEO, becoming a shareholder now feels both natural and motivating. Together with the new ownership group and our employees, I see strong conditions to take the next step in the company’s development, with continued local roots and a clear presence in the European market,” says Johan Andersson, CEO and shareholder of Kinnegrip.
